Hi all,

We recently bought our first house and the yard/landscaping is a wreck. When we moved in, the side yard was a jungle of dead/dying weeds, which we cleared a few weeks ago. I've since been slowly digging up individual sections of the side yard to plant irises and gladiolus that friends are giving us. Today, while digging, I found some resident bulbs that are sprouting, despite not having been watered since we moved in in March. I have no idea what they are, since I've never seen them flowering, and was hoping that someone might be able to identify the bulb for me so I can figure out if I should keep and replant them or throw them out as they're excavated.
