I've recently noticed several plants popping up in the mulch. They have large bulbs that when cut opened appear to be completely solid and green in color. (Like a melon) there is an earthy smell to them, nothing like onion or garlic. The foliage is somewhat slender and fans out and so far no flowers yet. I cannot find anything that looks like this and hope someone can help me figure this out. Thank you.
