I have two different fall blooming blue crocuses. Some have been here for a while while a line of them were planted about three years ago.
The line of them are known to be saffron crocuses but only one has survived. I doubt that anything ate them because they are neat a line of spring crocuses unless the critters only want the gourmet bulbs.
The question is, are all fall blue crocuses saffron or are they only a special breed? The one I have produces the three stems and are a dark orange/red color about an inch long. The other ones are yellow.
Is there a difference? Both have the same blue flower.
