Bulb Garden

So glad to find this forum! I know very little about bulbs or gardening in general, so I hope someone can help me. BTW, I'm in Michigan (Grand Rapids).

Last January someone gave me a beautiful bulb garden. It had/has a variety of bulbs in it--hyacinths, daffodils, tulips, etc. I saved the garden in a sunny room downstairs, waiting until fall to plant the bulbs. (Instructions said I could do this.)

Well, today I was ready to plant them outside when I noticed some large green shoots already forming on a couple bulbs.

My questions are

Should I plant them in the ground outside anyway?

If I keep them in the container in the dirt will they bloom again? (That would be nice.)

If I keep them in the container, should I put them in the garage or other cold, dark place until I'm ready to water and enjoy? How long?

Or should I just water them right now and keep them in a sunny spot?

I'm confused!

Thanks for your help!
