1. Open the package & air out the bulbs (take them out if them came in a plastic bag. After airing, place them in a paper bag or cardboard box. Do not keep them in a ziplock bag. Thanksgiving is a long way away. If no air circulation, the bulbs will get moldy.

2. Keep the bag/box in the coolest area of your apartment or in the vegetable bin in your fridge. Do not allow them to freeze.

They came in plastic bags with lots of holes.

I put them in an unsealed plastiuc bag that is supposed to absorb ethylene gas and put them in the crisper of my fridge. Does that make sense?

My major decision is fridge or apartment.

I think they will do fine in the crisper in the fridge. Check the bulbs at least once a week for signs of mold. If they get moldy, wash out the mold then place them back in the frige in a paper bag.
