Are they hardy in your area? If you are sure they are the freesias and they are not hardy, you need to store them. If you think they might be something else I would replant and wait and see.

Freesia are hardy here and are left in the ground. Mine are about 6 inches tall now, having started growing a couple of weeks ago. I looked at your member page to see where you garden but you give no clue. You can edit your name to remove the "none" and add your zone. Al

Depending on which site I use I'm in Zone 7 .. some say 8B.

I'm Coastal NW Washington, about 5 miles inland from the Georgia Straight.

I am sure they're the Freesia bulbs, I had no other bulbs planted in that spot.

And they are not hardy here in WA. The bulbs need to be dug and stored. And getting them to rebloom is a bit of trick :-)

I generally just treat them as an 'annual' bulb and repurchase. They are frequently sold as started plants in the supermarket for a very modest price.
