Tree Lily????

Just received my shipment of Tree Lily's from Brecks. They look good. Very large bulbs(12). Does anyone have experience with these wonders? Can I mass plant them fairly close to one another without a bunch of problems? I've never seen one of these monsters in person, so I REALLY don't know what to expect.

In Googling Tree lily, it seems it is some sort of Oriental Trumpet lily or an Orienpet. The suggested spacing for those are 12" (one place listed 9"). I would not plant them any closer than 9" and would try and go for 12".
