Urginea maritima from seed

Hi,

I'm curious if anyone has grown Urginea maritima from seed, and if so has any experiences to share. Since it's such a large bulb I assume it takes several years to reach this size and bloom, but how big will the bulb get after 2,3,4...etc. years?

Personally I think the bulb and leaves are at least as appealling as the flowers.

My seeds are fresh, taken from the pods immediately as they mature and split.

Thanks.

The info below say hardy to zone 10a. This plant has been growing in the open ground in zone 9b for years and has taken at least 25 F no problem.
