using alcohol to force paperwhites

The alcohol will make the foliage grow shorter to avoid flopping and won't affect the flowers. I just tried it and it worked. The only drawback is that I smell the alcohol. I used old, cheap vodka. See this link:

Glycerine (glycerol) works well too, and can be found at any supermarket with a pharmacy, or drugstore. No smell. Quicker to bloom too!
