Albuca regalis out of season

I got these as imports from South Africa this past summer so of course they are out of season this year as this is a summer growing species. They do make for a nice bit of interest in the fall under my grow lights though so worth the effort to keep them going for another month or so. Nest year I'll have them on the proper season. I have seen where this is probably now classified as an Ornithogalum and previously also as a Galtonia. Either way and whatever genus the "experts" now have this in it is a nice little bulb :o)

Glad you liked them......I'm hoping next year I will get them settled in to a western PA sort of existence so they can just sit in a pot dormant for the winter rather than taking up space under my lights, but for now they are enjoyable :o) Dan
