I'd bring it in when you are regularly getting nights of less than about 5c. They can take cool but they can't take frost. Once inside they want to be as cool as possible and in bright light but not hot. I think the smaller ones are tougher but even they won't take deep freezes.

that's what I guessed too. I'll follow your advice to keep them outside till the temps start dropping below 5C. I live in an area where people have lots of cyclamen out in their gardens/baskets/pots for fall decoration. So far the plants I have been observing in other people's gardens have been thriving in the weather we've had. I realize, though, these plants will be left outside until the frost kills them and they will be chucked to compost (sad part of most cyclamen life...). So I don't want to take any chances with mine.
