Anemone coronaria inquiry for zones 8+

I am located in zone 5A and am curious about what happens when you plant Anemone coronaria such as the ones pictured here http://www.tulipworld.com/anemones-bulbs-windflowers/hollandia-poppy-flowering-anemone.html do they stay dormant all winter and then come up in the spring? Or do they start to grow right away since they are better for warm climates? Can I plant them indoors in a pot in zone 5 and bring them out in spring...they don't need a cold period but do they have to remain dormant??

Here is a link that might be useful: Anemone coronaria
