Beautful!

looks like a member of the Amaryllis family, maybe amaryllis or crinum.

 o
RE: Bulb Id please?

Hippeastrum, maybe 'rapido'.

RE: Bulb Id please?

thanks, hard to tell between Amaryllis and Hippeastrum, some websites so they are different plants, others say they are the same plant!!

 o
RE: Bulb Id please?

Maybe Hippeastrum striatum.

There are a lot of experts on the Amaryllis Forum.

Here is a link that might be useful: Amaryllis/Hippeastrum Forum

Is the color in the photo true? If the photo is faded and the bloom is a brilliant scarlet red with white stripes, it could well be St. Joseph lily (Hippeastrumxjohnsonii). It's a very popular pass along plant here in the south.

the photo is not faded, those blooms are in their peek of blooming! and yes lila888, it does look just like Hippeastrum striatum - thanks
