Avalanche Daffodil - Blooming this Fall

Hello everyone. With the prospect of a long winter ahead, I thought people might enjoy a picture of my daffodils. I planted them last fall, and they bloomed nicely this spring. Now they're blooming again this fall.

Jo-Anne van den Berg-Ohms at John Scheepers/Van Engelen said it was unusual. A couple locals said they've seen it happen around here (Cheyenne, Wyoming) occasionally.

Until now, I've never known Daffodils could bloom twice a year. How unusual. Thx for sharing.

You're welcome surya55. I hope it doesn't finish the poor little guys off.

I've had the same thing happen with one that looks a lot like yours. I dug it up 4 months ago to share with a friend and the ones I replanted immediately bloomed about 3 weeks ago. Very yellow short cup with white perianth petals.
