Hello Everyone - Happy Holidays!

As the Holidays are going to close now and the stores are selling discounted bulbs now.

which I had to buy as i didnt get a chance to buy early in the season. Anyways, I bought about 10 bags of Darwin Hybrid bulbs for $1/bag on 12-26-11.

I know i dont have a lot of time to chill them, but do Darwin Bulbs need to be chilled?

I am located in San Francisco Bay Area zone 8b.

Thanks and any info would be great! =)

Chances are since most to all tulips need winter chill. I plant about 500-1000 tulip bulbs every year for the last couple of years and I chill all my bulbs for 8-10 weeks. I would place them in your refrigerator for 8 weeks or until they begin to sprout and then plant and see if they bloom.

Considering how late you are, I think I would plant after 6 weeks of chilling, though more chilling is better. Al
