Oxblood Lily Bulb White?

I was poking around the foliage of a planting of Oxblood Lilies and I found a white bulb growing just under the mulch. I seem to recall that the brown color of the Oxblood lily bulb is actually a wrapper, so maybe the wrapper has just come off? The foliage is very similar to an Oxblood lily's - strappy and floppy - but it seems like a slightly lighter, brighter green and the blades are maybe 3/4 the width of the Oxblood lilies.

I bought these bulbs a year and a half ago. Only a few bloomed the first fall because I planted them very late., and none bloomed this past fall - I think because of the drought. Anyhow, I wonder if one of the bulbs was something else (I bought a lot of 15 on Ebay). I'm not sure if I should dig it up to give the lilies more room (they've expanded a lot) or if I should leave it so I can see what it is. Or maybe it's an Oxblood Lily after all...

I posted a photo on the Name that Plant Forum. Here's a link:
