Help my Paperwhite bulbs sprouts are bent over

I ordered paperwhite bulbs a month ago and have kept them in a cool dry box. I had planned to send them as gifts in glass cylinder vases but just opened the box and they all have bent sprouts. Will the sprouts straighten?

Can you give us a picture? They are without light. They should straighten up once you get them planted. Set them so they will turn to the light of the window.
