Sometimes a mistake can turn out pretty nice.

The original trough was supposed to be two layers - two colors. Then the sides broke. I was left with a much smaller container. But I broke out the tools and while the hypertufa was still wet I carved this container. The second pictue shows the two colors.

In the container I am using Al's mix for conifers.

plants are a mini Chamaecyparis obtusa, sedum ,semps, and a very small leafed creeping thyme.
