North Louisiana Cold Container Plants

My green thumb is new and still growing. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for cool to cold hearty plants that do well with limited sun and in elevated concrete containers like at the entrance to the front door. We just leased a house for a year (waiting to sell our own) and the existing plants they left didn't make it. I'd like to have something that would look great there with the cooler months coming.
Any thoughts anyone? Thanks in advance!! |
