IKEA Waste Baskets

I have heard a lot of talk on the advantages of fabric pots because of its breath-ability. I was just roaming around in the local IKEA shops and I saw this waste basket. Lots of holes on the sides - small enough to hold potting soil but large enough to allow air and water through.

What would you recommend?

Ignore the price - I am getting it over here for cheap less than a dollar.

I love Ikea.
It is an imaginative idea, you certainly are thinking outside the box, and that is good.
Of course since it is steel you couldn't have it outside in the warm weather, but as an indoor planter you might give it a try and I'd like to know how it goes for you.
