| Hi,
I'm new to the Forum and have read some great information so far. I was wondering if it is possible to plant squash, the vine variety, in containers. But instead of having the squash climb a trellis, would it be possilbe for them to climb down a trellis if they are situated above the ground on my deck rail? Sound possible? I grew cukes quite well in containers last year and they wanted to hang over the sides and down. They are about 6 feet off the ground. Thank you

| I don't know why you couldn't. Maybe a trellis or mesh for it to cling to and support the weight of the vegetable. As long as the vine receives full sun, it should work. Jane |
