Asaparagus ferns yellowing

A few weeks ago, I bought a foxtail asparagus fern and a couple of Asparagus setaceus ferns. They came in this horribly compacted peat mix. I tried to wait until it warmed up at least a little bit to pot them in the 5:1:1, but they started yellowing.

I did not want to lose them by waiting any longer so just today, I bare rooted them and repotted them in the 511. They were all horribly root bound. :-(

My question is, what can be done about the yellowing leaves? What should I do with them now so they can recover well? Do I cut off the yellowing leaves altogether? How much light should I give them at this point? Thank you!
