Posted awhile back that I had planted a Sunshine Blue plant last March and recently noticed the thing was blooming like crazy. Now the plant is loaded with little berries. I wasnt sure what to expect from this plant and I am excited that it wont be long till I get to taste my first one

Very cool! You are going to love eating blueberries fresh from your yard.

I find myself in the position of having to replace most of mine. My two puppies (lab and golden) literally pulled them up and chewed them to pieces. I might have one survive the winter, but that's iffy.

So, no blueberries for me this year :(

Very nice! So what are you going to do with them. Eat them all fresh?

I will probably eat most of them fresh, maybe even a blueberry milkshake......

I have read where this variety usually ripens in July, so does that mean that it is ahead of schedule? Will it take that long for the berries to ripen?

The bush looks great, and congrats on berries so early! You can get a much clearer shot if your camera has "macro mode," which is usually represented by a flower graphic , and the camera will automatically focus on things much closer to it than the trellis.

? What container growing medium is easiest to maintain blueberry's 4.5 -4.8 pH?
