elongated elephant ear plant...

| hello,i have a green elephant ear in a 12" pot in the shed right in front of the south facing sliding glass door.still the leaves are very long now and flopping over.is there anything i should do now?will i have to cut those long leaves off and if yes when?thank you for any ideas |

| The leaves on my EE are long gone by this time of year. Mine are in the garden year around, but always grow back in the spring. I would cut off the old leaves now. Al |
