I currently use it on all my plants for every watering, 1/4 tsp. per gallon. this includes all types of succulents, to orchids, philodendrons, citrus, ficus, etc.

I don't have any side by side comparisons(plant A received PT and plant B did not type of thing), however i feel I have noticed a huge improvement in drought tolerance. Especially in the non succulent types. If i have to let a plant go an extra day or 2 between waterings because i am out of town, or sick, they don't seem to mind.
