Nectarine and Cherry (dwarfs) in same box??

I'm doing raised bed/boxes for my fruit trees due to high winter water table. Anyone have experience putting 2 types of trees in the same box? The box will be big enough for 2.7 or so ft between trunks with min. 1 ft between either trunk and the wood.
I have a dwarf Nectarine and am thinking of putting a dwarf cherry in with it.
Will they work together soil, food and water wise?
Any feedback is appreciated.

Am I in the right forum? Are raised beds considered containers? Anyway, I just measured the box. It is 6'X6 and a half ft.. The planting ht. is almost 2 ft above ground level, (so there's alot of room for roots). I already have the dwarf Nectarine and since i made such a big box will either put another full dwarf peach or Nectarine or a full or semi dwarf cherry. I would prefer the Cherry if it will be compatable.
