PVC pipe in earth box/earthtainers

GE has spent millions of dollars cleaning pvc's out of rivers and soil.

I am wondering if pvc pipe used in earth tainers could leach out harmful chemicals especially where they are cut?

I think you have it mixed up???? It's not PVC it's PCB. Polychlorinated biphenyl.

Here is a link that might be useful: Polychlorinated biphenyl and GE

Yes I blame the confusion on my head cold.

Actually I have answered my own question. I grow organically so any doubt about pvc tubing is enough for me to shy away.
