 o
meyer lemon - gritty or 5-1-1

I just ordered one and it is on it's way.

If you had ingredients for both mixes in hand (which i do), would you choose gritty or 5:1:1? This plant will be indoors for winter and outdoors the rest of the time. I am leaning towards 5:1:1.
Thanks,
D

IMHO,
511, just because its lighter and you will need to move the plant in and out.

The plant will like the gritty mix better, and repotting is easier if you're using the gritty mix. All my trees & perennial plantings, except those that are extremely vigorous, go in the gritty mix.
