Good deal on terracotta pots

Was at IKEA the other day, and ran into these:

They're marked '12" clay pots' at IKEA, but when I got a couple home, they're 14" across the top. They're only 5.99.

I was at home depot the other day, and they're pretty close to these: pot&storeId=10051
(14.99). The IKEA pots are actually a little bit taller though.

I know terracotta has its pros and cons, but 5.99 is pretty sweet for a big pot.

No kidding! That's as really great score! ..... not many 'cons' associated with unglazed clay from the PLANT'S perspective. I LOVE terra cotta for its (root) health benefits. I have tons of plants growing on for bonsai in terra cotta.

You done good!
