Care of young indoor herb seedlings

Hi everyone,

Newbie here. I've started an indoor herb garden (basil, lemon balm, mint, lavender, sage, and thyme). It's really exciting, but I'm not 100% sure what I'm doing!

All of the seeds have sprouted, but are still quite small. I'm having trouble finding information about how to care for young seedlings, specifically:

1. When to fertilize
2. When I can begin hardening them off
3. Anything I need to do other than keeping them watered/in the sun

Additionally, the lavender seems to be growing more slowly than the others even though they're all exposed to the same conditions. Is that normal, and is there any way I can promote faster growth in the lavender?

Finally, some of my herbs have developed thick stems already, but others have many leaves but still have very thin stems. Do I just need to wait longer, or am I neglecting to do something to promote wider stems?

Any help is much appreciated!
