| Hi all,
Has anyone tried growing Pasilla Bajio peppers in containers? I grew them in my community garden plot last year that I had to give up. I love, loved, loved these peppers so am growing some from the seeds I saved...in containers. Any suggestions? Best, Liz |

| I grew three hybrid pasilla peppers in a 15 gallon container. They were more than three feet tall and very productive. Peppers grow very well in containers. Many growers prefer containers. There's a very active pepper forum where you can learn a lot more about how to grow them if you want. |

| Thanks! I'll repost there. BTW, you didn't plant 3 plants in the same container did you? |
|
| Yes, I did have three in the same container. Looking back at my records, I realized it was a 20-gallon smart pot. I grew 3 serranos in the 15-gallon pot. They were much smaller, but very prolific. On the pepper forum, several regulars grow each individual pepper in its own 5-gallon pot and report that pots larger than that don't seem to make much difference. |
