Hi LBF....check out the Earthbox Forum at the link below. There are lots of helpful folks who grow veggies all the time in the containers....Once they are set up, all they need is water into a fill tube for the season, so you should be able to easily monitor it. There's a forum section for communities that might be helpful, there might be others who have done this for a group home.

Thanks so much Cindy!!Just wanted to follow up and say I got the Earth boxes and all the goodies today to go with and I am very excited about getting it going for the ladies! I just may have to go back and get one for myself since we are moving this year. That way I can just take my veggie garden with me! :)

Hey LBF, congrats! You are doing a great service for the ladies at the home. I sent an Earthbox to my stepmom for Christmas; she is planning flowers for her deck and is excited. I have four going right now, with tomatoes, lettuce, and sugar snap peas.
