Wisteria in a large container...need for root pruning?

Anyone have experience with growing a wisteria vine in a very large pot? Mine has been planted for almost 5 years. The first 4 years it grew very well and after the third year I pruned it substantially down to just one leading vine with the hope of all future branches growing off it. Last year it failed to grow but did bloom and leaf out. Thoughts? Do i need to attempt to root prune this? i am worried about how im going to do that since the vine is wrappedd around the post of our patio. I have only added soil to the top and fertilized but have done nothing else. The blooms are budding out now and it looks like a good year for them. It's probably potted in miracle grow soil.

Also, in the pot I also have three strawberry plants. I am not familiar with the root system of this plant and am wondering if its too invasive for the wisteria. They have cohabitated now for 3 or 4 years.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
