Do composted pine bark fines hold water significantly better than fresh uncomposted pine bark fines?

Hey Joe........YES

The last bags I bought (same as you: Elixson) were Fresh PBF ...Bright-Brown color not the dark rich semi-composted ..... they have so much retained pitch it's hard to wet the mix.....

I planted some tomatos in it...we'll see.....doug
