Like I have done on other occasions, I got ahead of myself and planted or re-potted most all of my containers using the 5-1-1 mix without working a CRF into the medium. I already see after just a couple weeks that using a CRF would be a better choice than using the water solubles I've always used pre 5-1-1.
Looking at the directions at the store, there was instruction to scratch the granules into the soil. Post planting, there is not much area to scratch. Should I bail on the CRF this season and just do water soluble? I didn't buy any. Also, I have not been able to find the mineral supplement in my area stores. Who tends to carry them?
Thanks!
