I'm wanting to repot my bamboo palm (Chamaedorea elegans?)
I've had it a few months and feel a larger pot and to replace the potting mix would be a good move.

The pot it's in is 9 1/2 inche diamitor for some reason so my 2 pot choices were either 10" or 12", I chose 12" as I didn't think 10" wouldn't be worth it.
I'm now in 2 minds as the 12" looks abit big.

I've made the mistake of putting palms in larger pots than I should of so I'm abit cautious.

Should I go ahead or would I be better just replacing the old mix and keeping the same pot?
