I'll pop in, JoJo....I did read through the Thread, but it looked as though all his questions had been answered. Al even responded already. I don't know how much more I can add. Either he can get the ingredients (including subs), or can't.

Yes, Al had been there but I wasn't sure what to tell him about amounts. I need to make new mixes this season too :-/ dreading the sifting. lol...

We just cannot find decent granite here.. at least couldn't 2 yrs ago when I was searching, so I had switched to the pumice. Hate perlite. ! lol...

I've never used granite ;-)
Always something else....quartz, pumice, scoria, perlite, or a combo of all....

Never found quartz here either.. you'd think being desert.. we'd have a little of everything! LOL! Haven't tried looking for Scoria yet.

I have had no trouble finding granite fines to 1/4 inch at landscape supplies. They sell all kinds of gravel and natural and man made rocks. I do sift to get out the dust size pieces. Al
