Hi, I was searching the internet for places to find pine fines in my area and stumbled across this forum and I am very excited to have found you all. I am very interested in learning about all the mixes that are spoken about here. From what I gather, there is a very smart person named Al on here that has come up with various recipes for such. Is there kind of an introductory post for newbies to the site that explains the terms (e.g. gritty mix, 5-1-1, 1-1-1-1, etc.) and/or has the recipes all in one thread or all in one place somewhere else (e.g. a book or some other publication)? I have lots of fruit trees and bushes in nursery pots that I would like to transplant into bigger pots, and I would like to do the best mixes possible for the different varieties that I have. Thanks!
