I transplanted my kale to a larger container, because they were too crowded. This was Saturday evening, and they seemed to be doing fine, but we had some rain yesterday, and quite a lot of rain today, and now they are looking kinda droopy/wilted. Could it just be transplant shock? My understanding is that kale likes things on the cooler side, and they usually do well in the rain--right?
The sun keeps coming out for about 5 seconds every so often (mostly cloudy, but no more rain), but it's not warm. 60-65 degrees, tops. And the broccoli, in a different container with different soil, drooped for about 5 minutes, but now it seems to be fine.
We have had a cabbage moth problem. I've been picking eggs off the leaves of all my cabbage family stuff just about every day. Doing my best to be gentle, but am I handling them too much?
Should I just let the eggs hatch and then spray them with soap spray?
