| There was a pretty widespread blight that hit my area last year making my cherry tomatoes go brown late in the season. Would reusing the same soil as last year to grow tomatoes again be a problem? Its a pretty big container so I'd rather not replace the soil if I don't have to.
Is there anything I can do to the soil to treat it before planting, ammonia etc? |

| Don't you just love the word "blight"? As long as it can mean anything, it means nothing. Most tomatoes that fail late in the season have a root problem with wilt or nematodes and the soil should not be used again next year or the problem is likely to be apparent so early in the season you will not get a crop.
