Hi,

I bought a young Japanese Emperor Maple and Golden Full Moon from ebay. size, about 2' and 1', pencil thin.

The seller is not replying to my question.

Do all maples require acidic soil type? I've planted both maples in Azelea potting soil mix.

the emperor maple is doing okay but the golden full moon, the leaves have dried and withered away. they are not in full sun plus we had cloudy weather for months.

They are in 7 gallon pots.

I'm not sure if it is still alive.
