Sorry to post again on the same subject so soon but I could save my self some valuable time.
Ive made 2 4 gallon batches of 511, I initially made them last Wednesday but replaced about a gallon of bark each on the weekend and added the right amount of lime back in to the quantity of soil I removed and mixed well.
I have read from an article on the subject and a few other posts to leave the mix for 2weeks before use. Is that more for the nutiant reaction rather than the ph reaction? I used non dolomitic lime (fine) instead ive added crf with micro nutrients.
Im wondering if I can start using the mix now? Im on holiday soon and want to have most things repotted before then.
