| I have about 20 ceramic plant watering cones, fed by a tube from a water reservoir. (They don't come with a reservoir, but a jug or trough works fine.) | They worked quite well -- you can see the reviews for more comments about them. It looks like Amazon sells something similar. I'm doing less container growing now that I have an outdoor "in-the-ground" garden, so I no longer need them, and I'd like to give them to gardeners who have a use for them. |

| They work by siphoning water from a reservoir into your planter. The potting soil can be whatever you like, but I wouldn't put anything in the water. |
