| I bought a one gall pot with three dwarf eggplants "Fairy Tale" in it, and am wondering whether or not I should put all three in a large container.
The roots are all grown in together and if I cut, or tear them apart it might stunt their growth. Right? I have 5-1-1 mix waiting for them and a 15 gall container. I am told the plants do not grow very tall, but I suppose they get bushy. Do I separate them into individual containers, or can they be planted together to conserve space? |

| I grew three eggplants in a 15 gallon container last summer, and they did very well, although I found the pot was dense with roots at the end of the summer. Those were Rosa Bianca eggplants that grew almost four feet tall. This year I decided to grow only two in a 20-gallon container. Eggplants are especially sensitive to Root disturbance, so I think I would plant them together in your 15-gallon container. |
