Suggestion for 10-12 ft tall tree in planter for privacy

Hi all. New to the community and completely inexperienced in gardening, so I appreciate any help you can offer.
I have a wall that is about six feet tall, fifteen feet long. I want to place some trees in planters behind it in order to create some more privacy. I must use planters because there is no soil (I live in a concrete jungle). I would need the full height, including planters, to be around 10-12 feet high. I was thinking of using something that looks like a row of narrow pines. I welcome any suggestions gratefully.
