Hi. I'm new to this forum and have a question about dividing my red leafed banana plant. I bought the original, badly damaged, plant off a discount rack. It recovered after I potted it into a larger container... Oh boy did it recover! The main stalk came back along with at least 15, or more, 'pups'. I am wondering if I can divide it anytime, or if I should divide it during a certain time of year. I also would like to know how big the 'pups' should be before I remove them to start more plants.
