| Hello Fellow Gardeners.
My apaganthus has been in a pot for just a couple of years and did magnificently last year. Currently it looks lush, green and happy but has only put one out flower stalk. The plant gets full sun here on my deck in California and has not been moved--why do you think it only has one stalk? Thanks, Connie |

| The only clue in your info is the '... couple of years ...' comment. If I had to guess, I'd venture that the roots are probably extremely congested and the plant badly needed dividing this spring. Al |

| I have never grown one in a pot, but have many in the ground. They do have a massive root compared to the amount of foliage, and I agree with tapla, the pot is probably full of roots. A clue to this condition would be the need of very frequent watering. Al |
