I have 5 blueberry plants, 3 legacy and 2 bluegold that will be grown on my rooftop where they can get 12+ hours of sunlight. I have two types of containers. The first

55 gallon half drums with a ring above for the plant base to sit. this will give 130 gallons and a stable base.for the roots as well as 18 inch plus 12 inches root depth.

The second choice is a 55 gallon drum with a plant at the top and 36 inches of root depth.

Which setup would be better for this situation
