| You have a head start on me in tuber size, but by golly I'm going to try to give you a run when it comes to leaf size next year. ;-) Mine this year already has tight feet in about a 6 gallon container - largest leaf is maybe 36". You should try castor bean too, Filix. These are in the ground, but leaf size is pushing 48" hard: Al |

| Thanks Al. Mt biggest leaf is 47"w x 51" long. And each leaf that comes out keeps getting bigger. This will be huge in september if the hurricane doesn't rip it appart! I would like to grow a castor bean. Yours looks great! The poison seeds has kept me from trying. "Young kids around" She is past that stage now, so maybe next year? I wasn't expecting photobucket to give a direct link. I have all kinds of stuff on there. Even some junk for sale! Your place looks wonderful! filix. |
