I'm so sorry to hear this. I've been buying their golden trophy pine fines #312 at their outlet for three years. The stuff is clean, well under 1/2 inch in diameter and smells like a pine forest. I used it in hundreds of containers of 5-1-1 and gritty mix. I will say the last batch of six bags I got seemed to hold less than 2 cf each. Now I see from their website that they've relabeled the bags of most of their mulches so they show a lesser quantity, and it looks like they no longer sell pine fines in bags. It's available by the cubic yard, but the cost of having a cubic yard delivered makes this source cost prohibitive for me.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I guess everyone, including the mulch companies, are trying to reduce operating. costs and maximize profit as much as possible. This is like the candy bar business where manufacturers keeps prices the same but reduce the size of the candy.

Classic case of buyer beware.
